Contact Tracing App That Works, Period.
Adaptable to operating systems used by commercial handheld devices.
Hepius
Your Digital Ally in Uncertain Times
A mobile app that runs in the background of your phone, alerting you when you may have come into contact with someone who tested positive for an infection, preventing any further spread of a virus.
How does it work?
Hepius passively records epidemiological data associated with every encounter made between app users using a combination of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) data and supplemental, patent-pending technologies. When an app user tests positive for a contagious infection or virus, Hepius will notify all other app users within the chain of contact of their risk exposure so that they may test and quarantine themselves to prevent additional suffering.
All data is completely secured with anonymized user keys and expiration dates so that no user can be identified within a data set.
What data is collected?
To carry out effective contact tracing, the following
epidemiological metrics are recorded with each contact event:
- Duration: How long did the contact event last?
- Proximity: How close was the contact event?
- Time: What was the date and time of the contact event?
- Location: Where did the contact event occur?
- Transmission Chain: To what degree of separation was the contact event from the infected user?

Economic Costs
A world devastated by a novel coronavirus
COVID-19 has completely disrupted the life we once knew. Universities, businesses, and governments all over the world are urgently evaluating their costs, adapting to remote environments, and doubling-down on safety policies. Despite the rise of new behavioral requirements like wearing PPE and social distancing, outbreaks are still seen across the country. Aside from the tragic emotional cost of these outbreaks, there are serious economic costs as well.
